As part of the agreement, Airplus TV will lease back 14 Mbit/s of capacity from TI Media’s nation-wide DVB-T multiplex for five years.
Airplus TV, controlled by the Swedish Wallenbreg family, will face hard competition in the pay-per-view over DVB-T market from market leader Mediaset group, the media conglomerate controlled by Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi.
