Telecom Italia is considering selling its undeperforming French assets.
BT Italia has been a long-time advocate of fixed-mobile converged services targeting the business community.
The NRA (AGCOM) is willing to impose the same termination rate for all fixed operators at € 0,57 per minute from 2010.
According to the Spanish daily El Economista, Italtel is negotiating the buy-out of Spanish equipment and infrastructure company Avanzit.
The Ministry of Telecommunication received 29 applications from bidders to the WiMax auction, to start at the end of this month.
Telecom Italia's current plan for its next generation access network (NGN2) is based on a FTCab/B plus VDSL2 architecture.
NGI has deployed its Alvarion's BreezeACCESS®VL and BreezeNET B to offer high speed broadband wireless services in Northern Italy.
