MVNO: will they survive?

Mobile virtual network operators are slowly starting to operate in Italy.
However, the proposed European-wide deregulation of the mobile access market might further limit their competiveness.

As explained by Stefano Quintarelli, the envisaged intention to eliminate market 15 (mobile and access origination) from the list of regulated telecommunications markets could possibly leave the access of competitors to mobile networks to the discretion of few dominant mobile operators.
