Tiscali to acquire Pipex

Tiscali is to buy the broadband and voice division of UK-based Pipex for an agreed enterprise value of £ 210 million.

Pipex has in the UK one million active customers, 650,000 voice customers and 570,000 broadband customers.

Following the acquisition, Tiscali will have 1.9 million broadband customers in the UK.
