Green light for FMC services

The National Regulatory Authority is expected today to release new rules concerning the fixed-mobile convergent services that has been formerly blocked by harsh litigation between Telecom Italia and Vodafone.

The Unico/Unica service announced long ago by Telecom Italia (based on UMA technology) and the Vodafone Casa (home zone) service announced by Vodafone (based on GSM cell id) should finally be available soon to consumers.
