Swisscom to buy Fastweb

Swisscom expressed its intention to acquire, through a public tender offer, the shares representing the entire capital stock of Fastweb at a price of € 47 per share.

The price offered is 27% higher than the average of the last 12 months. This is equivalent to an enterprise value of € 4.8 bn.
