C5 World Forum in Milan

The IEC will bring together in Milan key ICT players from around the world to present cutting-edge information on next-generation networks and architectures expanding the focus of the program to include network convergence and IMS development and applications.

Formerly known as the 21st Century Communications World Forum, the C5 Network World Forum conference and exhibition will have a strong network focus examining architectural issues and lessons learned from trials and implementation at network convergence. The show will also explore topics that will help create the ultimate experience for the end user.

Members of the planning meeting explored both mobile and fixed IP-based network architectures, as well as the technologies that will enable them.

The exhibition will also showcase the latest developments that will help carriers keep implementation costs down and assist in maximizing the return on infrastructure investment.

The premiere of the C5 Network World Forum will take place in the Fiera Milano Congressi in Milan, Italy, from 26–29 March 2007. Telecom Italia will be the forum's official host sponsor.
