Vodafone is going to broadcast mobile TV premium content supplied by SKY Italia on its mobile-TV network based on DVB-H technology.
The new Vodafone Sky TV service will be offered free of charge until March 2007. It will be later available for € 10 per month for the basic package: nine TV channels including news, sport, FOX TV series, music and cartoons.
Premium content (also free until March 2007), including live Serie A and UEFA Champion League football matches, will also be available.
Currently Vodafone is promoting the LG KU950 videophone as the only handset compatible with this TV offer.
