3 Italia is to commercially launch an Enhanced Uplink HSPA service in early 2007.
3 Italia successfully tested in its UMTS network the Enhanced Uplink HSPA technology supplied by Ericsson, that delivered uplink speeds of 1.4 Mbit/s, more than triple the previous levels, and potential peak downlink speeds of 14.4 Mbit/s.
