Telecom Italia willing to sell TIM Brazil

Telecom Italia’s Board of Directors has mandated senior management to negotiate the possible sale of the Group’s mobile activities in Brazil, with a commitment to refer to the Board of Directors speedily for the formalization of the relative final decisions.

Telecom Italia’s fastest Alice ADSL service blocked by Court order

An administrative court (TAR) blocked the fastest ADSL service offered by Telecom Italia, branded Alice 20 Mega. The Court ruled that Telecom Italia cannot sell Alice 20 Mega because it does not offer a suitable wholesale service to other OLOs and ISPs.

WiMAX licenses to be awarded on a regional basis
