The regional IT and telecommunications provider Infracom bought Netscalibur Italia, a Milan-based provider of carrier services, housing and networking solutions for € 27 million.
Infracom is a infrastructure-based growing provider of wholesale and retail IT and telecommunications services with a strong presence in the North-Eastern part of Italy.
Thanks to the acquisition of the Netscalibur Italia’s assets, Infracom gains a much stronger presence in the key Milan business region, including the private international Internet peering exchange GIX and Avalon Telehouse, one of the biggest interconnections points for carrier co-location in Southern Europe serving more than 100 carriers.
