Telecom Italia is expected to sign next week a strong partnership with News Corporation regarding content licensing.
Content to be supplied by Rupert Murdoch’s News Corporation is likely to be delivered by Telecom Italia through its integrated platform infrastructure, including mobile TV based on DVB-H technology, digital terrestrial TV based on DVB-T technology and IPTV based on ADSL technology.
Telecom Italia and 20th Century Fox have signed an agreement to offer Fox films on “Alice Home TV”, Telecom Italia’s IPTV service.
Beginning this month, all Alice Home TV customers will be able to view the latest 20th Century Fox releases, on-demand, as well as classics from Fox’s
library.
