Italian mobile users don’t like to have their mobile number published on a phone directory. Just 0,22% of subscribers chose to publish their mobile number.
The first editions of unified local phone directories (published by Seat Pagine Gialle), where users had the option to specify also their mobile phone numbers, are now being published in Italy. Just 45.000 people of out 20 millions chose to add their mobile number to their fixed line number on the directory. By comparisons, much more people (1% of the total) chose to publish an email address.
