EBay.it grew by 150% in 2005, said country manager Alessandro Coppo at an e-commerce conference organized by Politecnico di Milano. Value of traded goods reached 466 million € for the Italian subsidiary, the fastest growing one in the eBay world.
EBay.it was started in 2002 reaching a trade value of just 18 ml €. Now it would be considered in the top-ten list of retailers companies working in Italy.
Ebay.it is becoming one of the most popular website in Italy: it reached more than 3 millions registered users, and the site regularly gets more than 6 millions unique visitors per months.
